    btw the painting of the whites for the eyes image is out of order.

    I've always found it easier to paint the eyes by putting down the black first.

    than adding the whites, that way I can make the lashes as thin as I want.

    You can always fix the thickness of lashes, even later. There are many way to reach the goal, your is good as well :)

    What tools are used for eyes? I tried a magnifying glass and a pin tip, but it still didn't quite look right.

    I don't use the magnifyng glass, you can do it with a bit of training and patience: this will help your hand to be steady as a surgeon. For the pin-tip, I suggest you to avoid it: I use the simply tip of a 00000x5 brush, and it works :)
