OG13 Customizing Groups
Here at OG13, we offer a stable and appreciative home to not only a ton of brilliant customizers, but also to large-scale, wonderfully talented, customizing groups. This page gives you an overview of the groups themselves, as well as provides a quick link to ALL of our customizers, whether grouped or flying solo. Please note that these are placed in order of group creation, and doesn’t reflect any particular preference.

“Mayhem Customs was born from an idea back in March of 2012. Crimson Gord and I would exchange ideas around for customs and decided it would be cool to make a group that could do that also. It went from having about 4 or 5 members to around 30 now, covering many different websites. We were based at the Hisstank when we started, but decided that OG13 was more like a home and we wanted in. Thanks to Darkwise, Flint, and Lowlight; we were really welcomed and it was official. We’ve had some challenging times when CG and I were working crazy schedules; Storm stepped in as a Co-Leader and really helped out. But that’s what we’re all about in the first place, helping each other out. I can’t count the number of guys in our group that have gone out of their way to lend a hand to a new customizer or to step up in a group that needed guidance. We are some of the most talented guys in the customizing industry, not trying to sound conceited. Every one of our members are a part of tree, without one member, we are not whole. We have veterans in every area; painting, sculpting, graphics, art, and writing just to name some. We have set up numerous contests that were (and will continue to be) massive in proportion. We’ve handed out hundreds of dollars worth of prizes and customs, it’s all for the love of the game. We recruit regularly and are constantly having group projects. We are particularly looking for applicants that are active, helpful, and motivated. If you’re looking for an icon, Mayhem Customs is your group. We have many important people in the action figure world wearing our shirts, sporting our decals, and coming to us for their projects. We just want to rule the globe, we’re not that fussy! We look out for the new customizers and try to mentor them. “A customizers group who will work together and compete in contests as members of “The Syndicate” representing OG13. It’s all about supporting the group and being involved in customizing from every angle possible. Whether your a beginner or an experienced customizer is not important, having fun and learning the craft is the main goal of this group. Pushing the limits and attaining the supreme knowledge of customs skills is a desire, but friendship and laughter are a necessity. I want dedicated people, not just someone who will flame out in a few weeks and be gone. “I’ve noticed that most customizers have an affiliation of some sort; a POINT of PRIDE, so to speak. While this group originates from members of the PIF thread, it is open to anyone who shares those values. “Those values?” Pretty much the same as what you are going to see in 99.9% of the OG13-verse: People who see life as a glass half-full experience, and in doing so, willingly give mad props where mad props are due. If we can help each other out with an accessory/figure part/tutorial/feedback on custom work/or simply an ear to hear, then you’ve got the right idea. This group is also formed with the belief that ANY intentional alteration whatsoever is considered a CUSTOM, regardless of skill level (from kit-bashing to full paint/sculpting). Having said that, we encourage each other to try new customizing strategies, and make ourselves available to give helpful hints/ideas. It’s all for FUN and MORALE BOOSTING! I started the Custom Underground on Facebook over a Year ago, because I believe that their shouldn’t be any separation of customizing skills due to Action figure lines/ scale size and etc.. As the Facebook book group is a community page for any and all to enjoy, Here on O.G.13 this will be A Customizing Group to encourage the Novice, Support your fellow Members in competition.
