Congrats to Nath_1977 for his Centurian, Power Xtreme, Modern Jake Rockwell for being named Mt. Rushmore Customs Legends Custom of the Year on OG13 for 2013. It’s been through the rounds and went up against the best of the best. Posted during the 1st Qtr, The Tradition, it stood the test of time and came out on top. Customizer Bucky presents us with his version of Ultimate Duke, Pursuit of Cobra edition.
Duke catches alot of flack on Joe forums for the way he is portrayed in the cartoon, some comics, and the movie. I don’t get it. Sure, it shoved down people’s throats that he is basically Captain America when it comes to Joes, but that’s the point of Duke. He’s the All American soldier, he bleeds Red White and Blue, does what is right, no matter the cost, to keep his country safe. He is the ultimate soldier. He doesn’t need ninja skills, or heavy weapons, or to drive a tank. He gets the job done through sheer determination, grit, and will. He doesn’t care how big or how little he is, and he doesn’t give a damn.

Customized to adapt to storyline. The M588 falls into class of advanced technology weapon systems. Supplied to US Army and Marines.
Development, integration and production of advanced weapon systems were conducted at Natick and Tobyhanna (unoccupied zones north of the North Carolina border). Major production facilities were hidden in the rugged Appalachians spanning from Pennsylvania north to parts of New York. “

This Duke is probably my favorite custom ever, I don’t know if the photo does him justice but I’m really pleased with him.
Torso/Arms: Ret Mouse
Upper Legs: POC Commando SE
Lower Legs: Ret SE
Head: POC Duke
Webgear: Renegades Airtight with some fodder pouches
Backpack: I think that came off a Ret Cobra Trooper
Belt/Straps from fodder as well.
