We at the OG13 embrace all types of action figure and toy collectors. One of those are Gundam Model Kits and Figures. Gundams are a mechanized mobile suit robot that usually have the pilot positioned in the center of the chest cavity. There has been a numerous amount of shows based on the robots and their pilots. Gundam is one of the most popular series in Japan and it saw a spike during the mid 2000’s in the states when big retailers started carrying them for a limited time. That is when I got hooked on the model kits and haven’t stopped since. They provide hours of enjoyment and creative hand to eye coordination when building the model kits. The end results are very rewarding. The model kits vary in difficulty; the most common being HG(High Grade), MG(Master Grade), PG(Perfect Grade), and the latest, RG(Real Grade). There are also different sizes to the model kits, 1/144, 1/100, and 1/60.
HG which are the least difficult to build and will come in all three scales.
MG Kits come in 1/100 scale and are an intermediate skill level.
PG Kits are 1/60 scale and are the most difficult to build and most expensive.
(My next build, stay tuned!)
RG Kits come in 1/144 scale and are similar to a Master Grade kit in difficulty.
