“Fun Publications, Inc., licensee for Hasbro’s official Transformers Collectors’ Club, is excited to announce their first ever 3 ¾ inch human figure from the Transformers mythos… Marissa Faireborn!
Fans of the Transformers franchise will recognize Marissa as the Earth Defense Command (EDC) pilot from season 3 of the original Transformers cartoon. What G.I. Joe fans will recognize is the name, “Faireborn”. As Season 3 of the Transformers series took place a couple decades AFTER G.I. Joe, this crossover character was in fact, as intended by Story Editor Flint Dille who worked on both Transformers and G.I Joe, the daughter of G.I. Joe members Flint and Lady Jaye!
In addition to this great action figure offering, Marissa will also be riding in to action with her Autobot ally, Afterburner! Both will be revealed tomorrow on the Transformers Collectors’ Club Facebook page. However, in the meantime we are thrilled to present the art for Marissa Faireborn w/ Afterburner by Robert Q. Atkins and Jesse Wittenrich.
This figure, along with the motorcycle accessory, will be available for order through the Transformers Collectors’ Club early Spring 2015. For more information on the exclusive figure offerings of the TCC, including Lio Convoy, Nova Prime and the TFSS 3.0, please visit Transformersclub.com.”

“Because no one asked for it! Here is a thread where I can showcase my Transformers colleciton and provide my own view or opinions on different figures within the Transformers Universe.
I of course value all of your thoughts and opinions on these toys as well, so feel free to comment and share. Thanks for looking!”
I just saw that General_Hawk over at yojoe.com posted some interesting news regarding the Transformers Collectors Club crossing over into G.I. Joe territory. Rather than recap, here are the good general’s own words…
“If there are any G.I. Joe fans following Botcon, you no doubt caught the news of the Transformers Collectors Club revealed their line up for their third Transformers Figure Subscription Service.
Nestled within some other familiar characters was none other than Serpent O.R., a character pulled from the Devis’ Due G.I. Joe Vs. Transformers “The Art of War” series! The Serpent O.rganic R.obot is obviously an homage to the classic Serpentor character from the G.I. Joe mythos.
Images from the slideshow have been posted on TFW2005.com and the resemblance to everyone’s favorite Cobra Emperor is immediately evident in the color scheme. Check out the mirrored image below. Pretty cool homage, I have to say!
Make sure you keep your eyes on the exciting Shout! Factory Streaming Event live from Botcon, and all of the Botcon coverage from Figures.com!”

From their press release earlier:
