Here’s how the contest works:

Some of you probably know by now that my girlfriend, Dark Songstress, is currently out of commission due to fighting cancer, and as we all know, that isn’t cheap.
Well, talking with her brother today, it seems she’s undergoing a new treatment to break up the big masses of dead cells that have accumulated due to her body’s weakened state, and thus inability to remove them. Or at least that’s my understanding of it. Either way, the treatment is painfully expensive (to the tune of about $9000 a shot), and, worse yet, is not covered by their insurance.
In order to best serve the G.I. Joe Community and the person I love, I am raffling off a Mint on Card Renegades Storm Shadow. In addition, there are LOTS of other G.I. Joe prizes, including very hard to find ARAH vehicles!

First things first: What is Prosper.com and how can I use it to obtain personal loans?
Prosper.com is a financial marketplace, which is an online marketplace where you can buy or sell a variety of financial products and services. Personal loans are among the most common of these. You can search for a personal loan from a wide range of lenders. There are even loan professionals who will take care of your loan in exchange for a commission.
How Much Can I Get Offering a Personal Loan? As with the rest of your transactions on Prosper.com, there’s a maximum amount of the loan you can offer. This is called the credit limit. So, for example, if you’ve borrowed $10,000 and you’ve got a limit of $2,500 in your account, you can only offer up to $10,000 in loans. However, you can offer up to $10,000 in loans to up to five personal loan providers. As you can see, this means that you have to pay a flat $10 fee to each of the five personal loan providers. The way this works is that when you open an account at a personal loan provider, they will be able to offer you up to $10,000 in loans to use in your personal loan. You pay these providers through a small monthly fee.
Once you’ve used all of your available loans, you will need to either repay or make a deposit to ensure your money is still there. You can either do this via a bank or credit union account or by placing a deposit in your credit card.
If you’re applying for your personal loan through a bank, you can take out your loan with the same account as you do for your regular bank card.
The amount of the loan depends on the amount of the loan. As well as being repaid in full, a person’s money is available to spend in the same way as with a credit card – but it doesn’t carry a overdraft fee.
