“And its done! This is a resin cast I made for a client based on my own design. This black stealth version is what my client wants for his Skywasp (Skysweeper). He wants this one in matte black, and another one in a gray color scheme. Enough talk… pics!”
OG13 brings you the Offical Yard Sale of Awesomeness
We’ve gotten our hands on a huge vintage lot of figure, vehicles and accessories from ’81 to ’93, and we are bringing it to you.
All you have to do to buy from this Yard Sale of sorts is be a member in good standing of OG13.
This is a great way to fill holes in your collection or get those rare and hard to find items at reasonable prices.
Items are being posted daily in the Yard Sale Thread, so stop on our and browse or buy.
Recently, the senior staff members of OG13 found out that a couple of fellow members of OG13 were recovering from some life altering events and we wanted to come up with a way to bring the whole community together to share support for these members (and the community) in general. In addition to the custom auctions, and the two charity raffles, we decided on making an official OG13 Custom Trooper and sell a limited number of these figures to raise money to help ease the burdens our friends have suffered. We hope to continue this venture on a yearly basis, and this year it is all about our members, because without your support, we would never be where we are today! Yo G13!
As of 7/23, we have all 50 of the figures made, but only 6 of the cards/bubbles have been sent. We are waiting on mocJoes to complete the order of the cards.
Pre-orders have been fast and furious, so we have around 24 of the 50 left for sale.
Here are ACTUAL shots of the exclusive figure and packaging:
And here is a huge thank you to all that participated in the making of this figure, and to all that donated their own figures, time, talent, money, and patience, to make this happen. If we missed anyone (and probably did), please let us know!

From the workshop of Letal:
“Here’s my update/homage to the Cobra Laser Viper. I am very happy with this figure… so much that I almost entered him in the quarterly contest… but in the end I changed my mind. As usual, any words are welcomed!”
We are proud to spotlight this gender-twisted 1982 G.I. Joe run, from the workshop of starbuck; who doesn’t believe in small projects! This is not only eye-catching, but a brilliant study in finding ways to take the very limited amount of female sculpted Joe torsos and individualizing them to accurately reflect their male counterparts. You owe it to yourself to click through and look at each figure individually.
As you probably know by now or have heard rumors that we have an OG13 Trooper that is going to be sold for Charity… Here’s your unofficial SDCC ’13 weekend sneak preview of our limited figure that will be going on sale and shipping this August!
Thank you to all that have participated in making this happen!

I stumbled across the 1st of the OG Files that Byrnes had done with Unclassified and thought it was great! So great that it should be front paged and also followed up with another one. If anyone is interested in getting some spotlight/front page time, simply reach out to Byrnes or PV and make sure you send a pic.
For now, on behalf of Byrnes, I present Chapter 1 of the OG Files. The best/worst person on the internet: Unclassified
From the workbench of GIMark, of Bedlam Customs fame:
“Hola amigos! This is my first vehicle custom done about a year ago, just wanted to share with my new pals here. This is one of my all time favorite Joe vehicles, this particular version is actually a couple of different ARAH versions; a Python Patrol version is the body, and the top and bottom stabilizer wings are from an original one, which took some tooling as they were apparently not from the same mold.”
From the workshop of Lantern Lad:
“This is the one and only reason I bought the new Tomahawk… so I could make this. It’s not TRUE NightForce since it has no flourescent pink missiles, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it.
Black satin finish with gray burn marks.
Lift Ticket is the Ghost Hawk 2 Lift Ticket with a Mercer head and a repainted vest. The green of his jumpsuit is just about perfect for NF, so I left it as-is.
The custom made NightForce logo sticker gives me a new found appreciation for cobrastickers.com… it was a pain in the ass to make.”
Coming soon from Kotobukiya, The Avengers ARTFX+ Now you have have your Avengers face off against the Justice League…. you know you have wanted to do that for ages.
Also Kotobukiya as released their art for the new Bishoujo Armored Wonder Woman. If the finished product is anything like the art work we are in for a treat! Finally I really liked the look of the Peace Keeper Daisey Ani Statue. So cute. Super Cute.

The Rocketeer has announced information for this year’s Dallas/Fort Worth G.I. Joe and Action Figure show. Read an overview of the details below, and click through for more info, contacts, etc!
The DFW G.I. Joe and Action Figure Show is back for 2013! The members of the Dallas / Fort Worth G.I. Joe Collector’s club are extremely pleased to announce our second official show. Both the attendance and the overwhelming positive response received from the 2012 show far exceeded the clubs expectations so we figured we’d do it again…
So what’s changed? Well, we’re changing our venue and doubling our vendor space. Table cost will be $50 each before September 1st, and will then be $65 after that date. Booths will be $110 for a three table U shape sales area. The booth price will increase to $140 after September 1, 2013.
For those of you that are interested in reserving table space you might want to do that sooner rather than later as we’re already starting to receive requests from individuals who want multiple table space/booths and we sold out early for the 2012 show!
As the name of the show states, this show is just not solely about G.I. Joe in his various incarnations or size but about his action figure brethren as well. So, no matter what your taste in action figures you’ll be able to find it at the show!
