From the workshop of Shipshape1983:
“Sgt Slaughter was one of my favorite Joes as a kid. It was the Sarge who helped me get into Joes. I did a custom a few years ago, my second custom Joe ever actually. And for the time, it sufficed because of the parts available back than. Kind of a “best at the time” And he was great…
UNTIL
Retaliation gave us a figure of Roadblock played by the Rock!
This would give us customizers a larger new body to work with. Well it didnt take long for my fellow customizers to put two and two together.
But I was iffy about using the R body due to the skin tone. I would have had to paint the flesh. And that would mean potential paint rub off.
Well Vortious Customs Accessories and I felt the same way. And He created a conversion kit in Caucasian skin tone. The kit came with the head, torso, arms, hands, whistle, hat, and baton. I obtained one and went to work.”
This is a very biased opinion, but I feel these customs are the embodiment of great customs that I’ve seen today!
ECO-Force BBQ by JPNX
Now I know that this was from yesterday, but I think it’s awesome the way he brought out the design and color of the original figure and gave it a really cool modern look…
Next is Desert Grunt by Porcupunker
I love the combination of parts, especially the pouches on the vest. The head is a great choice and the paint wash gives it a realistic look.
Third is Vega Customs V4 Sgt. Slaughter. I like the blend of color washes and the Sarge looks Jacked and ready to tear some heads off those snakes!
From Vegabond of the Chaos Crew, we get a really great custom of the iconic G.I. Joe, Sgt. Slaughter!
“Part of a project I am working on. This was a lot of fun and I hope you enjoy him!”

From the workshop of Desert Cat:
“For those of you that don’t know my work, I hardly ever “make-up” new characters. I like to make 25th/ME versions of characters that have appeared in the cartoons or comics, but were never made into a figure. I enjoy this style because the viewer can really tell if I pulled it off or not.
Anyways, here is such an example: Marvel Comics Sgt. Slaughter 1st Appearance. I hope you enjoy this figure.”
