“After making my Hardmaster custom, I needed to make an update of his apprentices Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. Storm Shadow is an easy custom, but Snake-Eyes required slightly more work. The only thing missing is the Soft Master, whom I hope I’ll be able to make one day. Hope you guys like my customs.”

The 3rd quarter for Custom of the Year was another amazing showcase in custom skills. If you not familiar with how the contest works let me give you the quick version. We have 4 quarterly contests. Each 1st place winner from the quarterly contest will go head to head in a custom of the year contest at the end of the year (Dec/Jan vote). 1st place will be the Gen Hawk Award, 2nd Place the Cobra Commander Award, 3rd Place 1st Duke Award, 4th Place Destro Award. The 2nd and 3rd place winners from each quarterly are then put head to head in the Black Hills Bystander at the end of the year and one custom will be named the Black Hills Bystander winner. “My favorite figure as a kid will be available come February, for $179.99!
Being that the internet is what it is, there is much debate where this is the “V2” figure, but officially or not, its the closest I think we will ever get in this line.
The “Exclusive” benefit on this figure is the Cobra head katana sword. but as minor of a detail as this might seem, the claw hand is a big win for me.
So decide for yourself if its the “V2″ you were expecting, but as an interpretation I couldn’t be happier.”
